Wow it's just frightening to go on different message boards and see just how the conservative mind works. People actually still believe that Sadam and Iraq were behind 9/11 *shakes head sadly* .

There are people that still believe that Iraq has WMD, especially since Santorum reported that there were. Well folks, sorry to break it to you, but there are no WMD, what they are reporting on is stuff left over from as early as '91 and it's pretty much unusable. The closest thing they found was some old mustard gas, sure it would cause you damage, but it's not a WMD, any more than bulletts are WMDs. And FoxNews takes this story and runs with it, even though it's a very big "weasel" as Al would call it. *shakes head again*

I'm starting to think the Conservatives think that the american public is stupid, because what the present us with is shotty evidence that we are supposed to swallow as truth. Well, it's not gonna fly, at least not for most of us intellegent free thinking liberals and I might have too much faith in the American public, but i'd wager to say that most won't buy this latest round of B.S. What strikes me as even odder is that this supposed finding of WMD would be a big deal you would think right? Well why is only FoxNews really reporting anything on it? That should be a big clue that it's faulty evidence and the right just wants us to swallow it.

I know I know, just what we need another far left liberal writing about his/her views on the world, aren't there enough out there? Probably, but I still would like to have my voice heard as well.

The title of the blog Liberal : The Four Letter Word is named for what the Conservative movement has done to the word "liberal". We're seen as evil and unamerican and God hating, and we need to let the conservatives know that we aren't Evil or Unamerican, and no one hates God...just some choose not to believe in him. Liberal isn't a bad word and we need to start letting people know that we're proud to be Liberal and take back the word and use it for good. I don't mind being a liberal and hate hearing people put down the term. Since when is wanting equal rights for all, a fair and living wage for all Americans, making sure our poor are taken care of, making sure our children have health care, making sure that children are educated about their bodies and how to use them responsibly become a bad thing?

This blog will be mostly my views and my causes, most recently Gay Rights, Mariana Islands and Comprehensive Sex Ed in schools.

Also it will probably be a bunch of ass kissing towards Al Franken and Sam Seder, whom I happen to adore. Also a bit of O'Reilly bashing will no doubt occur, because who doesn't like a little O'Reilly bashing?

So sit back and relax and let an average american LIBERAL share her thoughts about politics.
